Currency: The Gelda

The Gelda is the official currency of Charge Island. The Gelda has been in continual use ever since the creation of the first Charginian nation, the State of Scharge. The National Charginian Mint (or the Schargemint) is responsible for the production and circulation of the currency.

One Gelda is subdivided into 100 fennigs. 5 Geldas is commonly referred to as a "funfár", ten Geldas is referred to as a "tánna" and 20 Geldas is referred to as a "tvánt".
