The Charginian Flag
The national flag of Charge Island , officially called the "Schargeflaggá", consists of three vertical bands of colour in the following order: black, sky blue and black and a Charginian Lion in the centre.
The flag was adopted on the 1st of November 1953, less than 2 weeks after the Armed Republic of Charge Island was declared. November 1st is celebrated as Flag Day in Charge Island.
According to the government, the black and blue bands represent night and day. The national animal of Charge Island, the Charginian Lion, is represented in the middle.

There also exists a variant of the flag that omits the Charginian lion from its design. It is mostly used at sporting events and can be regularly seen when the Charge Island National Football Team plays matches.
