SECTION I. The South Reinkalistan-Kafari War.

In February of 2020, claiming that the Caspian Sea falls under South Reinkalistani jurisdiction, South Reinkalistan (a nation located first in the Caucasus and later on a fictional island in the Atlantic) locked down the Caspian Sea and imposed a NS$1,000,000 toll on ships passing through it. Kafair, a large nation located in Egypt, declared the Reinkalistani toll null and void, and pledged to defend shipping in the region; they also threatened war should South Reinkalistan pursue enforcement of their claims. In response, South Reinkalistan announced that their People's Congress had authorized the usage of South Reinkalistani military assets, as well as Tosdoda's spire, a large spire capable of discharging high-voltage electricity at its targets. In response, Kafair activated its own military, including the Victory Array, a space weapon. Following the escalation, South Reinkalistan declared war.

Following the declaration of war, the Second Imperial German Reich sent equipment to Kafair and donated the German Armed Forces for use against South Reinkalistan. South Reinkalistan invoked the Watester Accord, an alliance stipulating that Russia Major and other allies come to their aid. As Kafair was also an ally of Russia Major, they did not immediately join the war but instead offered to hold peace talks between the two sides. Later, the nations of Britannia (a nation primarily based in the British Isles but also possessing many colonies all over the world) and Alpes a Septentrionali Imperium (Alpes, a nation in France) also declared their support for Kafair. Both declared war on South Reinkalistan. Soon afterwards, the Second Imperial German Reich declared war against South Reinkalistan also. Karelignia, Salcanceacy and the Waffle Empire also declare war against South Reinkalistan.

The war ends with the unexpected withdrawal of Kafair into isolationism.

SECTION II. The Interwar Era.

After the end of Kafari isolationism, Kafair's sultan, Ori El-Karim, extends a diplomatic offer to the Czar of Russia Major, Feodor Romanova-Holstein-Lansov. This is accepted, and while the two meet in Kafair, South Reinkalistan refounds the Watester Concordat. The nations of Russia Major, Kynor (a large, transcontinental empire in North and South America), Droiden (a nation in Scandinavia), Karelignia (a nation in Finland), Britannia, and Jamstown all aligned with the Concordat.

SECTION III. The South Reinkalistan-Vaktarian War.

Vaktaria (currently a migratory fleet, later a fictional island) arrives as a fleet, which splits up and heads for Russia Major and South Reinkalistan. Due to previous historical grievances, the fleet heading for South Reinkalistan is attacked by the South Reinkalistani Red Fleet. Droiden sends ships to aid South Reinkalistan in their attack against Vaktaria. Due to the Droidenean fleet being in Kafari waters, Kafair intervenes and also offers some cities for the establishment of the Vaktarian state. Kafair receives the support of Best Rwanda and the Second Imperial German Reich, and later Britannia, who cites ideological differences. Droiden and Britannia both mobilize their navies, though the war soon ends.

SECTION IV. The Kyavani Succession.

Kyavan, a large nation in Anatolia and Greece, as well as Italy, invites multiple European monarchies to a hunt. Among those participating are Droiden, Alpes, Russia Major, and the Ruby Ranch Republic, a nation in Germany. During the hunt, Emperor Marcus of Kyavan unexpectedly dies. Two factions quickly form, being the Phalanx, which supports the new Emperor Constantine XV, and the Triumvirate supporting the Emperor's three daughters. Both factions receive foreign support quickly. The Phalanx is supported by Kynor, Eternal Spain, Alpes, the Order of the Holy Inquisitors (a nation located on fictional islands near South America), and Kafair. The Triumvirate is supported by Droiden, American Pere Housh, Vlamms Statt (a nation located in Belgium), Britannia, Karelignia, the Ruby Ranch Republic, and later South Reinkalistan. The Dixie Confederate Union (based in North America) supports the Triumvirate non-militarily, but later withdraws due to the execution of an important government member by Kafair. Droiden and the Triumvirate march through Africa in an attempt to reach Antioch. The British navy engages Eternal Spain at Gibraltar, but does not pass through in time. Spanish ships and paratroopers land in Sardinia, while the Order invades Malta. Alpes attacks Corsica and Kynor lands troops in Antioch, subsequently heading for Greece. Kafari operatives destroy a Dixie Confederate Union embassy, and Droiden evacuates the Dixie government. Vlamms attacks Greece and on the way destroys Athens via an artillery and aerial bombardment.

The Order invades Sicily and marches towards Rome and Jadotgrad, while Kynor arrives at Greece. Spain invades Corfu and Albania while Order troops storm Jadotgrad and breach the Imperial Palace, arresting one of the three making up the Triumvirate. With the war effectively over, most nations pull their armies out of the war, and the position of the Phalanx as the world's most powerful alliance is forever cemented. Constantine dies in battle during this war.

Shortly after the conclusion of the War of Kyavani Succession, Droiden succumbs to a civil war between a communist and monarchist faction.

SECTION V. The Rise of the Golden Throne.

After the war, the Golden Throne is formed by the union of Kyavan, Alpes, and Kafair thanks to their marriage ties. Alpes becomes the Western Pillar, Kafair the Eastern, and Kyavan the Core Pillar of the new super-state, and the nations that supported Constantine form the Phalanx, an alliance supporting the Golden Throne's immense power. Its members also include the Zentralreich, a German and Eastern-European state, and Karelignia. The Golden Throne draws the ire of many other powers, most of whom supported the Triumvirate instead. The Dixie Confederate Union is later absorbed as a shield of the Golden Throne.

The Watester Accord is once again invoked by South Reinkalistan, and comprises Russia Major and Britannia initially. It has one simple goal:

Death to the Golden Throne.

SECTION VI. The War of Kyavani Independence.

A coup led by High Marshal Lysander begins in the Core Pillar, formerly Kyavan with the intent of restoring Kyavan's independence. Bolstered by Flavius of the Order of Holy Inquisitors, it manages to take over the capital Urbeaureum, and Evangeline Aelrich, heir to the Golden Throne, is crowned Empress of Kyavan shortly after. The current Emperor of the Golden Throne, Emperor Alexander, is defeated in combat and imprisoned.

The coup does not go unnoticed, and Kafair, the Eastern Pillar, launches an invasion of Kyavan to restore the Golden Throne. The Watester Concordat intervenes with a declaration of war by Russia Major, marking the first Watester Concordat state to oppose the Golden Throne. The Ruby Ranch Republic soon follows, declaring war on the Golden Throne and support for the Watester Concordat. The Order, citing the heretical nature of the Golden Throne's Christianity, similarly declares support for Kyavani independence and proceeds with a naval invasion of Guyana, Kynor.

The Kongur of Droiden is assassinated, and as a result Droiden stays loyal to the Golden Throne. The remaining Phalangetic League members are supported by the Zentralreich, who declares war on the Watester Concordat and the Golden Throne's other enemies. The Ruby Ranch Republic is quickly invaded by Droiden. Britannia declares war on the Golden Throne and allies, sending ships to Droiden and to Gibraltar, and beginning an offensive in Ireland. Liberimarcat, a nation, or rather collection of corporations based in Ontario, announces its support of the Watester Concordat. Liberimarcat focuses on reclaiming occupied parts of the Ruby Ranch Republic for now. Vlamms Statt, aligned with the Golden Throne, invades the Ruby Ranch Republic.

After suffering a disastrous defeat, the Ruby Ranch Republic falls to the Droidenean forces. Meanwhile, Russia Major begins their invasion of the Zentralreich, and the Waffle Empire, located in the Burgundy region, declares their support for the Watester Concordat. Rhodes is bombed, and subsequently taken, by Kyavani Thronist and Eastern Pillar forces. A second offensive begins in Ireland after the failure of the first offensive, and the Order invades Alpes from the Bay of Biscay. Britannia invades soon afterwards from the Channel into Normandy.

Emperor Marcus is revealed to not have died, and he organizes a peace conference in Dubrovnik, effectively ending the war. While conflicts were still raging on, the delegations began their arrival at Dubrovnik. An explosion kills Flavius and destroys the Dubrovnik gardens, sending Marcus into a rage that causes him to order the killing of all citizens of the Order within Dubrovnik.

The eventual result of the Peace of Dubrovnik is the restoration of the Golden Throne, and the absorption of Kyavan as a shield, while Urbeaureum is ceded to the Core Pillar directly. The Ruby Ranch Republic and the Order are both partitioned, while Droiden transfers their holdings in Canada, Ireland, Greenland, and Iceland to Britannia, also being absorbed into the Golden Throne as the Northern Pillar. Kynor receives Wilhelmshaven as a result of this peace.

The storm came, and the Golden Throne endured. While it was thrown into disorder, it has grown to become more powerful than before, and once again dominates the world stage. Finally, Marcus dies (again), Britannia and Droiden arrange a marriage, and multiple leaders of the Ruby Ranch Republic are killed in accidents. Evangeline remains the Empress.

SECTION VII. The Fall of the Golden Throne.

The Golden Throne was the world's foremost power, yet no empires can last forever. Thus comes the fall, as all empires must fall.

Fifteen years later, dissatisfied with the reign of Evangeline Aelrich, Alpeian nationalist elements enter into an alliance with the Watester Concordat. The Golden Throne and its Phalanx is attacked by the Watester Concordat, and the Throne is defeated at Warsaw, in the Northern Pillar of Droiden, in the Zentralreich, at Gibraltar and at the Suez. The Zentralreich and the other members of the Phalangite League declare their opposition to the Golden Throne soon after, and a combined offensive from the Phalangite League and the Watester Concordat combined with revolts in Kafair and a succession war in Droiden force the Golden Throne to capitulate. The Golden Throne is dismantled, its territories divided into numerous new states, and its united noble house, House Aurea, is split into its constituent houses.

Evangeline Aelrich and Ori El-Karim are declared missing and presumed dead in a separate bombing of a Kafari Yacht. The Golden Throne had fallen.

The new world order is marked by the rapid sparking of new conflicts. The Suez Reaffirmation Pact, allowing the Zentralreich, the new Italian state, and Salcanceacy to intervene in much of Africa and the Middle East, is created. The Nouvelle-Orleans Pact, a similar pact involving Kynor, the Zentralreich, and Nouvelle-Gaul (former Alpeian North American colony), is also signed. The Ruby Ranch Republic annexes Austria, while Liberimarcat invades Vietnam, and Minelegotia and Equestria and Britannia have a small conflict over Pondicherry. Terrorists attack Kiev, a city of the Zentralreich, and later Grodno. Caedis, a collection of Micronesian islands, attacks Peru and Chile, leading to Kynoran intervention, and South Reinkalistan begins supporting a revolution in Bolivia.

SECTION VIII. The Canadian Revolution.

In the Dominion of Canada, the governor elections had just ended. Mostly controlled by the British Colonial Administration, it chose as the new Governor Andrew Thompson, the CEO of arms manufacturing company PolyTech International. Another candidate and the runner-up in the election, John Wilson, whose rivalry with PolyTech goes back almost to his company's founding, plots a coup against the new Governor of Canada. With foreign funding, he manages to gather the Canadian people into a mass revolt against the colonial government. When Britannia sends troops to suppress these revolts, Russia Major declares its support for Canadian independence. Soon after, the majoirty-French Quebec declares independence from the new Canadian Republic, and the Oregon territory joins Canada.

Vaktaria announces their own support for Canada and lands troops in Aleut, though Britannia later exchanges Aleut for Vaktarian support of Britannia. Britannia sends troops to Canada to suppress the Revolution, while Russia lands their own troops in Alaska in support of the Canadian Revolution. Caedis also provides support for Canada with troops and equipment and later declares war. As a result, Britannia enacts a blockade on Caedis, and sends patrol fleets to most major seas, including the North Sea, which becomes heavily patrolled.

A Vaktarian tanker, the Particular Conscience, sinks near Japan, prompting the Vaktarian government to attack Japan. A British patrol sails close to Amsterdam, in the Waffle Empire, later leading to the Waffle Empire declaring war and launching missiles at the British patrol fleet in a show of force. In retribution, a British fleet attacks Emden. The Castelian Federation (Castel, a country located in South America) declares war on Britannia, launching missiles at major shipyards. Britannia begins a bombing campaign against Castelian coastal cities in return. The Tripartite Pact, an alliance between Britannia, the Zentralreich, and Kynor, is founded in opposition to the Watester Concordat, and especially Russia Major.

Japan falls to the Vaktarian invasion soon after, being annexed into Vaktaria. Lord Grand Marshal Rendower of Vaktaria installs himself as Emperor of Japan, an act declared as treason by the Grand Senate of Vaktaria. This sparks the Vaktarian civil war, coming shortly after Vaktaria received territorial concessions from members of the Tripartite Pact in exchange for membership in the Pact.

With the revolution falling apart, and with very little left to live for due to his past, John Wilson commits suicide leaving the revolution without an actual leader. The Canadian revolution slowly disintegrates, becoming a shell of its former self and in effect a Russian occupation zone. Trains carrying nuclear weapons are found in Canada, one of which, carrying three nuclear warheads, is recovered by Austrian separatist elements and fired at the Ruby Ranch Republic.

With no help from the other supporters of the Canadian Revolution, Castel withdraws from Canada. Britannia attempts to expel Russian troops from the city of Winnipeg, but due to the lack of heavy armour, the British suffer heavy losses and retreats. The Vaktarian civil war ends with the victory of the new Emperor Rendower, who begins reforming the nation into a nationalist, pro-Russian, state-Catholic empire.

After a naval defeat, Caedis agrees to cease aid to the Canadian Revolution and signs a ceasefire with Britannia. Castel and Caedis begin improving relations by way of a royal marriage. Due to an attack in Prerov by Czechian separatists, the Zentralreich declares war on Russia Major and calls on Britannia, Kynor, and Vaktaria to aid in the war. Soon after, Vaktaria founds the Co-Prosperity Federation comprising Vaktaria, Salcanceacy, Caedis, Castel, the Waffle Empire, and the Ruby Ranch Republic. This new alliance aligns with neither the Watester Concordat nor the Tripartite Pact.

Britannia joins the war aiding the Zentralreich, while Droiden once again succumbs to civil war. Castel attacks Norfolk, in British North America, with missiles, causing Britannia to mobilize forces against Castel. A second offensive in Winnipeg results in a British victory, and Britannia signs a ceasefire with Castel ceding islands in the South Atlantic in return for Castelian aid in Canada. The Co-Prosperity Federation intervenes and delivers an ultimatum demanding the withdrawal of forces and peace talks, which is ignored by the Tripartite Pact. As a result, the Co-Prosperity Federation militarily intervenes, though with little military movements from any sides, a peace treaty is soon signed.

SECTION IX. Modern Day.

Eihlagonia, a nation located in southern South America, invades and annexes the Bahia Blanca. The Zentralreich, after the first elections in the country, immediately attacked Hungary, quickly defeating it and subjugating it under the Kaiserlichesprotektorat Ungarn. Ixilia begins sending diplomatic envoys to major nations around the world, and the Zentralreich invades Romania under the pretext of peacekeeping. The Castelian Emperor dies in a plane crash, leading to a succession struggle between the various heirs. Romania is pushed back, but seeks the aid of Russia Major, which sends a small detachment of soldiers to evacuate the Romanian government, and Ixilia begins their diplomatic visits in Droiden.

Portugal is invaded by the New Spanish State (Spain, a different state from the previous Eternal Spain but with similar borders), and Chacos is invaded by Castel. When the invasion meets resistance, Castel detonates a nuclear weapon in Chacos. The Ruby Ranch Republic and Droiden sign the Hamburg Accord, amidst the chaos in the Ruban state. The succession in Castel ends with Decimus, the director of the Castelian SVG (intelligence agency in Castel) becoming the new Emperor. Droiden intervenes in the Ruby Ranch Republic following their revolution.

Chacos finally falls to Castel, which annexes several provinces and makes the remainder into a puppet state. Castel, Caedis, and Eihlagonia create the Triumvirate, an alliance that later grows to include the First American Union (America/US, a nation in North America similar to the modern USA but with different borders) and Enagonsing (a nation in Asia, having similar borders to Han China). The new alliance would later also accept Russia Major as an associate member. Portugal falls also, and Spain effectively annexes it with the creation of a non-sovereign commonwealth. Kyavan aligns itself with Droiden and Russia Major in an attempt to preserve their integrity against the Zentralreich.

Enagonsing declares war on Mongolia attempting to conquer land for agriculture, which leads to joint Russian-Vaktarian intervention, eventually partitioning Mongolia. Enagonsing also declared war on Tibet, claiming that Tibet was their rightful territory.

America had repeatedly stated their open support of the Canadian Revolution, going so far as to provide material aid to Canada for a time. Their actions were met with hostility from the government of Britannia, and though it had been back-and-forth with diplomatic statements for a time, the recent deployment of troops to the US-Canada border was not well-received in Britannia, and was met with a similar deployment of troops.

After over a year of conflict, the war in Canada took an unexpected turn. The British government, tired of the year-long struggle, decided to open negotiations towards the end of the conflict. This resulted in the partition of Canada, and especially the city of Winnipeg, and while one part of Canada was returned to Britannia, another would become an independent republic.
