Continuity? Worldstate?

I don't really know how else to describe it? Maybe restrictions or guidelines? Caveats? In any case, basically it's a set of things of what is or what isn't in this universe. Vague rules or explanations for certain things. You might know what I mean now.

  • No nukes (or rather, nuclear weapons that we know will end with nuclear winter, doomsday.. don't exist). There are definitely superweapons (Valkaseberya has pure fusion weapons, other countries would have their own unique "blend" for an explosive superweapon or other means entirely). Like, the concept literally cannot exist to any of the beings on this Earth, this quadrant of the galaxy. Nuclear power however, exists, and is restricted to that.

The main point is, I just don't want nuclear Fallout to be anywhere in the timeline.

  • After some recent reading, I think a fictional universe like the Infinity timeline from Ace Combat is somewhat fitting to be a sort of template for this universe (at least for the current era). Except in this timeline, on Dec. 31, 1991 New Year's Eve, a 'world restructuring event' happens. As soon as the clock hit 00.00, this section of the Universe inexplicably "reset".

History, for the most part is unchanged, all 'timeline anchor events' still happened but at different dates and durations. And then we ended up with what we have now.

  • Certain technologies.. are "greener" or "safer", from a minimum of 35% up to 90% "better" than its real life counterparts. It's things like sonar or devices that emit radiation or signals, things that we have to use but exposure to it has very adverse affects for people as well as animals or even the environment. These are different from industry tech/methods which are also "greener" although not as drastic as these but still far "better" than what we have irl.

At the very least no more birds getting effed over by signals equipment or aquatic animals also effed over by sonar or people getting cancer from radioactive instruments (massively decreased chances not zero).

So, in summation, certain tech/applications are multitudes safer/greener/efficient overall compared to real life but it doesn't mean it's no longer dangerous.

  • In addition to the "cleaner/safer" tech, this Earth is actually 25% bigger, 60% healthier & "stronger" (against our efforts to damage it), with 87% more natural resources including more variety. However distribution (across the globe), accessibility, usefulness are still determining factors for those resources (these are most definitely the non-living resources).

  • Valkaseberya isn't some "unique" super nation, just like I mentioned earlier that this timeline should somewhat mirror the 'logic' behind the AC Infinity Universe, it's an advanced nation with certain advantages in terms of technologies and resources. Other nations like China, Russia, the US.. they all have certain things that they have an abundance of and/or are great at.

  • Wars aren't uncommon since there is no threat of nuclear doomsday so it doesn't really affect global economy the way it would irl. Global wars however, that is an entirely different thing and have much more "realistic" effects.
