Why I don't support the 'Black Lives Matter' movement and switched sides to Back the Blue (OOC)

Disclaimer: Before you go accuse me of being a straight, male white supremacist. I am ethnically Filipino and Queer. I also do not think that racism against black people doesn't exist, it does, I just don't think BLM is the solution.

Throughout my entire late childhood, I've been exposed to many pro-racial equality movements, most importantly, the Black Lives Matter movement. I kinda liked the idea of toppling a racially inequal status quo and government, until the beginning of my teenage years, when George Floyd was killed.

In June 2020, George Floyd was killed by a cop who was crushing him (well it was technically strangling since he died from asphyxia, but I assume based on some cheesy American stereotypes, that the cop was probably heavy, even if his physique didn't show any signs of heavy fat but I will just assume the cop's knee was Heavier for Floyd than it actually was).

I had already transitioned from a more liberal political mindset to a more conservative one, which explains the catalyst of why I switched sides but here is thing.

The riots and finding out what the Ferguson Lie fuss that started BLM was all about, is what made me immediately snap from BLM to BTB. Those riots were pure violence, how could you wish to defund the police then engage violently, as well as setting up an autonomous zone that acts like a Police State in its own regards.

You may say "Well not all pro-BLM protests are riots, in fact many were peaceful" well to that I say

NOT ALL WHITE SUPREMACISTS PROTESTS WERE RIOTS EITHER, AND THEY DID START PEACEFULLY. Yes torch-bearing racism is scary but for as long as it didn't end in violence, it isn't a riot, we need to stop being biased against these movements if we want to stop the stigmatised (virgins, those with a mental illness/disability, etc.) from using these white supremacist movements as a refuge and spreading further hate.

As for the Ferguson Lie,

LinkThe witnesses who started the iconic "Hands up, don't shoot" slogan that now roams pro-BLM supporters, admitted to lying, and these were the people that started BLM as a movement

"Well what does this have to do with George Floyd?"

Well, EVERYTHING, how can we trust the people who started BLM aren't lying about what happened to George Floyd though yes, the cop was actually guilty here, he had no reason to kill Floyd whatsoever. But imagine what will happen if lies were instead fabricated OUTSIDE America.

Which is what happened in Japan...

The police in Japan are notorious for being easily-aggresive when compliance is not seen by anyone REGARDLESS of their ethnicity, LinkNobita from Japan has even said that some of his friends (who are the ethnic majority) had experienced the easily-aggresive hand of Japanese police. Yet, BLM has edited this and the movement in Japan has sprawled, a lot of Japanese people have called out the movement's divide and conquer tactics.

But the damage is already done, I and several others CANNOT trust this movement, from then on, I started leaning more towards Back the Blue.

Yes, I will acknowledge that Back the Blue lies sometime as well but please remember, BLM started with a lie, BTB started with a callout on the lie.

Thanks for reading.
