Education Rights Act 2019

Following the reform made to the education budget;
To ensure every Sialkedese citizen receives world class education whether he/she is the richest of the rich or the poorest of the poor;
Recognising that under current legislation this is not exactly guaranteed;
The Royal Government of Sialked hereby,

(i) Guarantees state funded education to every Sialkedese resident until the age of 26 free of charge unless one of the following conditions apply:
(a) The student lives within Sialked without permanent residency or citizenship
(b) The student is over the age of 16 and has committed a severe crime within or outside the country
(c) The student's guardians do not pay taxes and do not qualify for social welfare


(ii) Guarantees free state funded education to every Sialkedese resident until the age of 18 even if they do not quality for the first section of the law
(iii) Establishes the Independent Education Quality Maintenance Committee (IEQMC) with the following responsibilities:

(a) Ensuring that the curriculum is kept up to a world leading standard
(b) Ensuring licenced private and public intuitions are keeping their institutions running effectively and safely
(c) Monitoring and ensuring student safety laws are enforced in educational institutions
(d) Ensuring that there is no discrimination or corruption in the admissions policies of any educational institutions


(iv) Clarifies that any one with refugee status or citizens of the colonies of Sialked will not qualify for section (i) unless they have Type 1 Sialkedese Citizenship
(v) Declares that any attempts to restrict the application of these following will result in prosecution
