Treciene (HEAVILY WIP)

The Sovereign Constitutional Empire of Treciene, commonly called Treciene, is a constitutional monarchy in the middle of the Great Cayele Ocean. It does not border any nations, being an island. Treciene covers 4.50 square miles and has an estimated population of 750 million. It comprises of 64 Crownzones and 10 Territories.

Established in 1111 by Yvelen Vagazoan of the Empire of Honnok, Treciene was at first a struggling and fledging nation. Over time, nobody noticed it. But with help of the natives already living there, it gained some attention and managed to be helped. It became great when the Conquerie of Honnok happened in 1242. King Wochyo II lead the very undeveloped Trecienese army to victory.

After this, countries slowly grew, including itself. Treciene was a bustling country, full of active villages. The economy was getting better, and the military was strong. Everything was going strong.

Etymology
There are many reasons why Treciene is Treciene. But the most popular reason is because of the native calling: Turezen, which means Triumphant in Honkese. Honkese was the most common language on the island. Also, this proves that Treciene is a triumphant place, with its many historic events.

History
In 1089, Honnokian explorer Yvelen Vagozean went on a journey with 50,000 people and 10 ships across the world. It had weapons and armor to attack offenders, food, and water to stay healthy and raw materials to fix the ship. In 1093, Vagozean and his crew of men finally found an empty island. By then, the crew had progressed over 10,000 miles. The island was then discovered by local tribes, which called the island “Turezen Island”, for the Honkese word for Triumphant. Vagozean made a friendship with these people, and eventually, they helped build the nation.

Language
The official languages of Treciene are Honkese and English. The number of Trecienese speaking Honkese in 2018 was 42.32% and the number of Trecienese speaking English in 37.81%. Both languages have been added to the Trecienese Curriculum and it is required for schools to teach both languages. About 61% of Trecienese have said that English-Honkese class was their best subject in a 2017 poll. Other languages that are mostly spoken are most of the Asiatic Languages and Esperanto. All languages are spoken, but very rarely.

Honkese was the first language developed by the people of Treciene. It was created by Hoenkesen Gavajal, a man from the Fiefdom of Xairez, and the namesake of the language who created in about 548. He needed a new language to avoid the complexity of the Xairean language. For his development of language, known as New Xairean, Gavajal was thrown into jail for life, but protesters destroyed the jail and freed him. Then, he moved to the Kingdom of Honnok and Hajjaj after it was made to avoid more pressure from Xaireans. There, in 564, Hoenkesen spread his language, and in 568, that was made the official language of the Kingdom. By the time Treciene was created, everyone was speaking Honkese, so obviously it was the language of Treciene.

Sources say that English was not developed until 1532, when a man named Yukao Crystallinus (the ancestor of Techonico Crystallinus, first democratic chancellor of Treciene), from the Ki-wa-ka Sultanate. Unlike Gavajal, Crystallinus's new language became popular around the Trecienese. It was adopted an official language of Treciene in 1665.

Religion
Treciene's major religion is Toitiemism, which came from the great city of Teleinotach, now known as Riolone City. It tells major lessons in life.

Race
Treciene mostly has Asians living in it, most from East Asia. In the 2016 census, Chinese people were the racial majority, and Hondurans the minority. Despite this, almost every race is located in the country, and because of that, reports say that 15 percent of Trecienese people are interacialy married.
