1. If at any point, an RP becomes unrealistic enough to the point of not being fun, an online player can put up a vote to VOID the RP. Any online player can vote at their own discretion. If the RP is voided, it does not count in the overall ATA timeline.

2. The RP types acceptable in ATA are the following, and the type must be stated when the RP starts:

[b]Normal RP[/b] 
Normal RP is the standard of A Taco Archipelago. It generally includes nation v. nation wars, or trading stuff. This is the most common type of RP you'll find.

[b]Character RP[/b] 
More intimate, detailed RP. has since been used in special events, hosted by different nations.

[b]Simulation RP[/b]
Was created to do military power tests against other nations. This will not affect stats.

[b]Insanity RP[/b]
Will not affect stats in any way, and is just for fun.

3. To prevent godmodding, stats will now be used to determine the amount of technology you can have:

I. CLASSIFICATIONS

Human Development Index:

1st World Country: 80-100+;
Transition to 1st World Country: 80-60;
Mid-World Country: 60-40;
Transition to 2nd World Country: 20-40;
3rd World Country: 0-20.


II. SCIENCE

LEVEL 1 - less than 80 in "Scientific Advancement"

i) little to no science;
ii) can not do any form of higher scientific things (weapons, inventions, etc.);
iii) cannot go into space.

LEVEL 2 - more than 80, less than 160 in "Scientific Advancement"

i) little science;
ii) can make some new inventions or weapons, technology should be around the era of modern-day
iii) can create small robots;
iv) can go in space with help from other, more advanced nations, but not station;
v) can have mining facilities in space.

LEVEL 3 - more than 160, less than 230 in "Scientific Advancement"

i) medium amount of science;
ii) can make many new inventions, almost at the stage of planet colonization
iii) can create robots;
iv) can go in space with help from other, more advanced nations;
v) can have mining facilities in space and little research teams;
vi) can not terraform.

LEVEL 4 - more than 230, less than 300 in "Scientific Advancement"

i) decent science;
ii) can make many new inventions, an example of this level would be interstellar travel
iii) can create medium robots/space ships and AI;
iv) can travel in space, do tests on planets, including mining, research bases;
v) can station on planets and have small colonies (can terraform with the help from other, more advanced nations).

LEVEL 5 - more than 300, less than 400 in "Scientific Advancement"

i) good science;
ii) can make new inventions quickly
iii) can create big robots/space ships and more developed AI;
iv) can travel in space, do tests on planets;
v) can station on planets and have their own colonies (can terraform);
vi) they may explore other galaxies but not station in them for long;
vii) can do some groundbreaking discoveries.

LEVEL 6 - more than 400 "Scientific Advancement"

i) very good science;
ii) can create brand new inventions with great speed
iii) can create huge robots/space ships and more developed AI;
v) can station on planets and have their own colonies (can terraform);
vi) they can explore other galaxies and station in them for a few weeks
vii) can do groundbreaking discoveries.

Note: Nations who can explore planets can only claim 1 planet every 2 weeks!

III. MILITARY RECRUITMENT

LEVEL 1 - less than or equal to 20 in "Compliance"

i) Armed Forces are 1-5% of the nation's population
ii) Takes a long time to mobilize

LEVEL 2 - "more than 20, less than 40 in "Compliance"

i) Armed Forces are 6-7% of the nation's population
ii) Can mobilize within a month or so


LEVEL 3 - more than 40, less than 60 in "Compliance"

i) Armed Forces are 8-10% of the nation's population
ii) Can mobilize within a few weeks

LEVEL 4 - more than 60, less than 80 in "Compliance"

i) Armed Forces are 10-15% of the nation's population
ii) Can mobilize in a week

LEVEL 5 - "more than 80 in "Compliance"

i) Armed Forces are 15-20% of the nation's population
ii) Can mobilize in a few days

Note: Robots count as 1/4 of a human, meaning you can have four times as many robots, however, they are expensive.

IV. MILITARY SKILL

LEVEL 1 - "less than or equal to 1500 in "Defense Forces"

i) Troops have very low skill
ii) Only effective in high numbers
iii) Easy to counterattack

LEVEL 2 - more than 1500, less than 3000 in "Defense Forces

i) Troops have low skill
ii) Can be effective in medium numbers if supported well
iii) Good at Defense, but not so much attack

LEVEL 3 - more than 3000, less than 4500 in "Defense Forces"

i) Troops have mediocre skill
ii) Effective in medium numbers
iii) Good at Defense and Attack
iv) These units can perform special attack like stealth attacks and surgical strikes
v) These are the base troops, like a regular soldier in a regular nation

LEVEL 4 - more than 4500, less than 6000 in "Defense Forces"

i) Troops have good skill
ii) Effective in small and large numbers
iii) Good at all types of combat
iv) In order to have Level 4 Troops and above, you need to mention training them

LEVEL 5 - more than 6000 in "Defense Forces

i) Troops have great skill
ii) Effective in any amount of numbers
iii) Can hold their own in combat
iv) Must have been RPed to have had extensive training

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are no categories other than the ones above. Once you reach the top category you have those benefits and no others.

V. EXTRAS

1. PUPPETS

a) When RP-ing, puppets are NOT allowed unless they are approved by a moderator.


2. RP WEAPONS

a) Weapons can be created according to your scientific possibilities.
b) Any new weapon can be revealed to the world only when peace - a mention in a Factbook/Dispatch is enough, but specifications can be added.
c) Any weapon declared during an RP War, without prior mention will be deemed non-existent and voided, and any effects of that weapon discarded.
