"The Border"

"The Border" refers to the border connecting the Greater Mormon Empire to the rest of the world. At first, large roads once connected themselves to the road, with smaller roads segregating out to large towns that once had the largest farms in the Empire. That land was also home to many bustling smaller cities that have held the big potential of becoming fully-fledged cities in the near future.

Though, that was the case 53 years ago.

Then the..."incident" occurred. Now, the land beyond the tree-line is now only used for testing purposes, hence the black marks that mark mild-testing, and the red X's which mark the most extensive weapons testing. Weapons that would've been originally forbidden from testing on the mainland, are now used in this area. Any vehicles too slow, too underpowered, and not equipped for the environment is doomed to become stranded, its occupants slowly killed from radiation that emits from the ground and all around.

No effort has been made to save the land, not after the first wave of bombs dropped. Rather, plans to make a large sub-level highway has been proposed, though, how far these plans will actually develop is up to the current Father to decide. For now, its fate has been sealed as both a permanent weapons-testing ground and an unsafe environment.
