Károlospoli (Willinkian: Κάρολοςπόλη) (Marian: 𐡊𐡀𐡓𐡅𐡋𐡅𐡎𐡐𐡅𐡋𐡉), also known as Charlestown in English and Karlostovn in Yuslevak is a large island located in the Omz Sea in southern Haven. It lies 700 km west of Slovedonia and 350 km southwest of Akimonad. Initially settled by Willink in 1436, Károlospoli has changed hands several times, becoming a possession of Praetonia from 1798 to 1880, before a return to Willinkian rule til annexation by Yuslevakia during the Pan-Havenic Twenty Years War in 1904. The island was again captured and annexed by Willink in 1942, and in whose possession it has resided since.

Residing in an important Linksea lane, Károlospoli grew into a significant trade station, center of diplomacy, and naval outpost during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, serving as a base of operations for Willinkian traders and trade companies operating in Skinny87, Yuselevakia, Brydog, Midlauthia, and Franberry. Purchased by Praetonian traders from the Willinkian Crown, the island eventually developed into an important Linkcoaling station for the large Praetonian Royal Navy, whereupon it was repurchased by Willink for coordination of its geopolitical presence in Karain. Invaded and captured by Yuslevakia in 1904, Willink launched a surprise and undeclared war on Yuslevakia during their internal upheaval in 1942 to reclaim the island, and in the decades since it has proved a popular tourist destination and port of entry known for its quality beaches, historically cultivated cosmopolitanism, and scenic natural beauty.
