NOTING the lack of a structure for a military in the event of a declaration of war

NOTICING that this could lead to a fight for power during war times

CONSIDERING the small chance that we actually go to war

HEREBY...

Section 1:Establishing the Temporary Military Shogun

  1. In the case of a declaration of war, the Doge may assign a temporary Military Shogun.

  2. This may be contested by a majority vote in the Senate.

  3. The Temporary Military Shogun must abdicate their position on the end of the war.

  4. The Temporary Military Shogun only has the power over military operations.

  5. Military operations must only be taken in an effort to defend the region or the regions allies.

  6. The Shogun cannot engage in any offensive military operations or engagements, without a 2/3rds vote in the legislator, and by consensus of all executive ministers and senior officials.
