This is established by the Lands End Roleplay & Map Clarification bylaw:

1. Lands End roleplay will be strictly modern tech:

   1. If an item is existent in real life, it can exist in Lands End roleplay.

   2. Items currently in the Prototyping Development Process are permitted on a prototype basis in Lands End roleplay.

   3. Roleplay is limited to those animals, plants, fungi, bacteria, etc. (lifeforms) that exist on Earth and their abilities on Earth. The creation of new lifeforms and alteration of current lifeforms is strictly prohibited.
      

2. Only the maps posted in this dispatch will be recognized as official:

   1. This includes the Political, Geographical, and Blank maps.

   2. Map claims may be as large, but shall be no larger than 50,000 pixels, on the official map; this is comparable to Bonnie Blue Republic's claim.

   3. The scale of the map is 1 pixel:1 sq mi(2.59km^2). This means that a 50,000 pixel claim is 50,000 sq mi (129500 km^2).

   4. Claims on the map are meant to represent city-states (Singapore), supercities (Jing-Jin-Ji), or small countries (Greece).

   5. The map shall be updated and approved by the Head Surveyor (Hansa Federation).

   6. The map shall be updated in the dispatches and on the Discord, with the >le_map alias, by the Secretary (TESDAI).
      

3. Only Shareholders may claim space on the official map:

   1. Map claims shall be removed upon loss of Shareholder Status.

   2. Map claims shall be removed by executive order of the Chief Executive Officer.

      1. Executive order may be ruled null by a 2/3 majority vote of the Board of Directors.
         

4. Roleplay must be posted on the Regional Message Board.

   1. All posts in #ic_news be posted on the Regional Message Board.

   2. All posts in #ic_diplomacy be summarized in a #ic_news post or placed in a dispatch to be posted on the Regional Message Board.
      

5. One shall obtain consent to use other nations in their own roleplay.

6. Roleplay will be regulated to comply with the rules above:

   1. The Chief Executive Officer has oversight of the roleplay.

   2. The Chief Legal Officer is to interpret the rules and regulations of the roleplay.

   3. The Head Surveyor is to ensure map claims are legal and reasonable.

   4. The Secretary is to ensure the rules and regulations are current and accurate.

   5. Any rulings on the roleplay are open to appeal to the Board of Directors by request of the aggrieved party.

      1. Appeals must be decided by a 2/3 majority vote of the Board of Directors.
