Puppets and Strings is a veritable hodgepodge of discarded and broken puppets, dummies, dolls, action figures, and toys. Collectively they were made sentient through the will of their leader The Hand.
The Hand oversees the entire nation in all things, being the supreme leader to whom there will be no equal.
The denizens of Puppets and Strings are collectively known as Puppets regardless of their appearance as all that dwell in the nation are individually strung and controlled by The Hand and his personally appointed lawbringers The Fingers.
