The DRF Awards

So, as the DRF is more than a year old and lots of nations have contributed A LOT, I thought that it would be nice to introduce a nice little thing to recognise the achievements of all the nations who have put in the hard work to take the DRF to where it is today. In this dispatch, I will be writing down the different awards on offer, and then nations are free to nominate nations for the award. Multiple nations can win an award, so I will not the date of the nation winning the award. As well as that, nations are willing to add a little award title to their name (a bit like MBE sort of thing). So lets get on with the awards!

Name: Founder's Award
Abbreviation: FNDRA
Description: This is the most prestigious award, and nations can only be nominated by the founder. This goes to nations that have helped out in the government, that have been part of the community and nations that have gotten involve in extra activities. To sum it all up, this is for a nation that has done pretty much everything and done it well.
Recipients: [nation]Zweites Preussen[/nation]

Name: Community Award
Abbreviation: COMA
Description: This award goes to nations that have been part of the community and made it what it is. This can be down to RMB involvement, dispatch writing and general activity. Nations have to have been involved for more than 6 months to be able to win the award.
Recipients: [nation]Abbots[/nation]

Name: Government Award
Abbreviation: GOVA
Description: This award is for nations that have had great involvement in the government. This essentially is for cabinet ministers and election candidates, but it is really for nations that have made a difference, like bringing new legislation or being effective in the position. Only nations that have held a governmental post can be nominated for an award.
Recipients: [nation]Lynttyn[/nation]

Name: Freedonian Medal
Abbreviation: FREM
Description: This is the penultimate award, and a very good one to be nominated for. It is for nations that have been good members of the region, good contributors and nations that have upheld the values of democracy. Nations who have spoken out and asked constructive questions should be considered well. This can be awarded to anyone who has stayed in the DRF for over a week (including nations that CTE'd).
Recipients: [nation]Matroyska[/nation]

Name: Posthumous DRF Medal
Abbreviation: POSTHM
Description: The final award! This medal goes to nations that have CTE'd (or in special cases left the region for inactivity) and nations that had made a difference while in existence. This can be for nations that helped the region grow or nations that benefitted the government or any other thing. The nation just had to make the region a better place.
Recipients: [nation]Supremn[/nation]
And so, the list is finished, but the important bit is to actually award them! The way to do that is by any DRF citizen (see constitution to check if you are) can nominate a nation for an award and I will check its validity (just making sure it fits the requirements) before processing it and noting it down on this dispatch. Any winners will be announced on the RMB and by TG, and each winner may choose to have the abbreviation as part of their title! This probably won't ever stop, but it depends on the future of the DRF, so let's make it bright!
