[LoA Journal] Day 1

Yesterday, I presented a global notification of absence. however, the meaning of mental absence for me, is to separate myself from everything that can intoxicate me, or damage my integrity. so I was reading, designing, and today under a photograph, I took out one of the most precious birbs of the Mesoamerican and / or Prehispanic culture. Investigating about the past of my country, before the conquest, appreciate how much we need to return to the origins, even if they are not directly related to us.

How could I be related to Moctezuma if even my skin tone, heraldic, surnames and name are not related?

However, there is one thing that relates to me, and it is the uniqueness and culture of my country.

Mexico, or rather the United States of Mexico (or perhaps the Mexican Republic), is a bleeding country, a country that despite more than 200 years of its independence, has not finished healing, and there is still a long way to go, but their deep values, and their culture serve as healers, but why the government has tried to prohibit the teaching of history? "Who does not learn from their history, will tend to repeat it."

But, today I draw this bird, the Quetzal, or Quetzalli, bird with majestic feathers, with a beautiful song.

And maybe I'm not identical to the model, I'm still learning digital design, but one day I'll perfect the shadows.

And at the time of publishing this in a region that I am creating, I wanted to give cultural information, and come to the account, that pre-Hispanic cultures, is the only culture that I know (maybe there is more), that in the Gods does not reside the evil, the evil is established by the "ancient cultures of the West", such as Greece, Iberia, Celts, Germans, Britons, Nordics, but not in the Mayans or Aztecs, for them the Gods, each and every one of them had a purpose in life, something that motivated to follow the day to day and live for it, something to thank the unknown, from Tlaloc, God of rain, as Huehuetéotl, God of Fire. The sacrifices were sacred, even with the worst criminals, or the best opponents in a war, the sacrifice was not considered savagery, it was an honor to die for the Gods or for the Gods. The worst fear was to die without serving the Gods, and the worst punishment was to die, without being sacrificed to the Gods.

The evil, was exclusive of man, there was no evil God, Poisonous God or treacherous God, animals, all had meaning, from the most beautiful hummingbird, to the longest snake.

It is an apprenticeship, it is interesting, and motivates me more, in this mental absence, to work perennially with my cultural project of the Aztec region. Despite the deepest betrayals, despite the most hurtful lies, and the dishonor that this game tends to bring, there is still hope to create a place worthy of forgiveness and worthy of honor.
