The History of The Royal House Of Ra'an

The Royal House of Ra'an is the only known surviving noble house from The First Era (The Golden Era), who were revolted against in The Second Era (The Revolutionary Era) and were reinstated in the current age of The Third Era (The Second Renaissance). The family was one of the most prominent during The First Era, as they hailed from the most important coastal province in Aktan, Ra'allsaerlenne (Rah-Al-Say-Len-Uh).

The family's oldest known ancestor is Jo'tal Ra'an XI, whose reign began in 1617. He was the first high king in the Ra'an dynasty. (Kings and queens are numbered by their first names, their last names are irrelevant, to the number) His daughter, Heir-Princess Sejoraka Ra'an became High Queen Sejoraka Ra'an VII after Jo'tal Ra'an's death in 1645. Her reign was during 1645-1701. During the Marche-noirean-Brasilistani war, 1647-1649, High Queen Sejoraka sent the Aktani Valkyries (an elite force of all-women archers) to the aid of Marche Noire. The Aktani Valkyries were originally young girls taken from their villages at the age of 2, who were then brought up on the religion of The Aktani Crested Eagle, and trained as an elite ranged force, even during the age of gunpowder, they still used Aktani arrows, which are famously metal-piercing, but some also used muskets.
The Aktani Valkyries collapsed in 1882, with the revolutionary government in power.

When High Queen Sejoraka Ra'an VII died in 1701, her son took over at the age of 15. This child was High King Alrek Ra'an XIX, who famously started The Aktani colonial empire, which spanned for continents, and ruled from 1701 to 1776, dying at the age of 90. During his reign, The Imperial Palace of Jomanji was constructed in 1721, as a monument to The Aktani Colonial Empire. It was in this reign that the greatest scientific advancements were made in a single reign and this led to a new advancement. Tunneling. This is the reason the city of Jomanji is underground in its entirety.

After his reign ended, Heir-Prince Sajeerza Ra'an took the throne as Sajeerza Ra'an IV of The Aktani Order, which he ruled until 1846, with little happening in his reign, also known as the days of peace. Very boring.

When he died Ket Ra'an XXIV took the throne after assassinating his father Sajeerza. This caused a lot of instability in the nation. He continued to fuel his evil pleasures of excessive gambling and flagrantly expensive parties by taxing the people. He was overthrown in 1870, and executed. This hallmarked the entry of the second Era.

However, his youngest son, Prince Jamikla Ra'an escaped to Marche Noire, where his he lived his life comfortably, as did his bloodline. In 2019, Jamikla's great-great-grandson Ket Ra'an was contacted by Prime Minister Katako Jambor and asked to return to The Aktani Order as High King Ket Ra'an XXV. This began the third and current age of the Second Renaissance.
