It's not the end (but it kinda is) ...

Hopefully, by now, you're aware of the Linkdelegate election taking place on the forums.

As we enter the final days of the campaign period, I'd like to take a moment to formally announce that I will not be running for re-election.

Being the delegate of TSP three different times now has truly been the highlight of my many, many years in NS. While I've said this many times over, years ago I had given up on the idea of being delegate. However, I launched my initial delegate campaign years ago when I thought I could be a service to the region. And, my second turn at delegate came about a rocky time period in the region when others trusted me to hold things together.

I reluctantly made the decision to run for this current term when I wasn't happy with the candidates running. However, I'm pleased to see that we have ample talent running for the delegate's seat this time around. I'm confident well-known faces like The Solar System Scope, Rebeltopia and Erinor as well as exciting newer names like Beepee and Harmakmis will ensure the stability and security of the region into the foreseeable future.

Just to be clear, this isn't Linkgoodbye and I don't plan to Linkfloat away; I hope around as much as possible as a member of the Council for Regional Security, offsite forum administrator and effervescent personality on the RMB.

To quote one of my favorite shows: "It was been an experience that I'll always keep close to my heart. And that these are memories that ... I'll wrap myself in when the world gets cold ..."

Thank you all for the faith you placed in me and the support you've given me throughout, and thank you for making the region the place it is today.

Long live The South Pacific!
