Felis Weekly: Assassination Attempt at Felis Fishmarket

The world-famous Cattus Bhaile Margaidh Éisg, Felis silvestris grampia's primary Fishmarket, was the scene yesterday of an attempt on the Grand General Geoffrey's life, when a masked gunner shot him as he inspected an eel stand.
He was then rushed to the nearby Royal Hospital, with an armed escort. The Lord Inferno and Lord High Admiral have been notified, and an announcement from the Lord Inferno is expected in due course.

The Silvestran Police are urging for any witnesses, or anyone who believes they know the identity of the gunner, to come forward.
The Margaidh Éisg will be closed until further notice, while the Police investigation takes place.

The case is being treated as attempted murder.
However, there are no signs that this was an act of terrorism.

The General's condition is unknown.
