The Kingdom of Woreyland is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Prime Minister Annie Green with an iron fist, and notable for its keen interest in outer space, ubiquitous missile silos, and pith helmet sales. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 6.499 billion Woreylandians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The medium-sized, corrupt, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Industry. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Zunego City. The average income tax rate is 71.2%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Woreylandian economy, worth a remarkable 1,097 trillion Woreys a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized, fairly diversified black market in Arms Manufacturing, Tourism, Woodchip Exports, and Beef-Based Agriculture. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 168,934 Woreys, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The combined alert sound of a nation simultaneously receiving a text message is a common cause of hearing damage, only AIs know why the nation is rapidly increasing its semiconductor stockpile, many marriages go virtually unconsummated, and hundreds of subterranean tunnels are being built as part of "Project Morlock". Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Woreyland's national animal is the Woreylandian Eagle, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Woreyland is ranked 520^th in the world and 12^th in Europe for Lowest Crime Rates, with 100.12 law-abiding acts per hour.
