The Kingdom of Wardency is a massive, orderly nation, ruled by King Wilheim IV with an iron fist, and remarkable for its closed borders, public floggings, and frequent executions. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, humorless population of 2.744 billion Wardens are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The large, corrupt, well-organized government is effectively ruled by the Department of Defense, although Industry and Law & Order are also considered important, while Education and Environment receive no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Priastand. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 83.3%.

The frighteningly efficient Warden economy, worth 603 trillion Okronuas a year, is quite specialized and mostly comprised of black market activity, especially in Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, Woodchip Exports, and Automobile Manufacturing. Average income is an amazing 219,874 Okronuas, but there is a vast disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 1,417,107 per year while the poor average 13,783, a ratio of 102 to 1.

Bigtopian relations have become a minefield, the nationalistic national anthem inspires citizens to literally spit at foreigners, caps with skulls on them are the height of fashion, and Wardency isn't what it used to be. Crime, especially youth-related, is well under control, thanks to a well-funded police force. Wardency's national animal is the Peregrine falcon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution, and its national religion is Notchism.

Wardency is ranked 9,328th in the world and 463rd in The North Pacific for Largest Governments, scoring 33.36 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
