Stjórn uppfinninga- og rannsókna
Stjórn uppfinninga- og rannsókna was founded in 1927 as a government-owned investment management company for connecting inventors and entrepreneurs with growth capital as part of the new Hřjre government under Statsminster John Christmas Mřller's Austrian school economic reforms. The firm enabled an explosion in new industry in the interwar period and enabled Denmark to stay competitive in the civilian and military technological markets. Then in 1935 with war on the horizon, Danish Defence and a consortium of companies including Madsen, Thrige and Krampers revived the dying, underfunded agency as a clearinghouse for technical innovations that could be produced for military purposes. The companies produced these inventions and paid royalties to the inventors or hired them as technical advisors. After the war, Danish Defence no longer needed Stjórn uppfinninga- og rannsókna and it passed back into the civilian government, reestablised intermittently by pro-business governments for its original purpose. Then in 1977 the organisation was divided and privatised and in 1980 the venture capital part was revived as a neoliberal think tank as the Christmas Mřller Forening (CMF) under Kjeld Philip's auspices with Ester Boserup later serving as chairwoman. Martin Ĺgerup became chairman in 2000 and crystallised the think tank as pro-free market, socially conservative and in favour of pragmatic liberal policies that promoted business genesis and growth.
The invention farm part was mostly reaqired from DISA A/S and Viking Gruppe by Danish Defence as a precursor to the Third Slesvig War in 2023 and the human resources and lending divisions were revived by the Ministry of Finance with support from Funtastic Innovations in mid-2024 to support entrepreneurs and small businesses as the Dansk Nćringsliv, so there were 3 different agencies that all came from Stjórn uppfinninga- og rannsókna. The 2 government-owned ones merged after the invasion of [nation]Union of Afro-Euroasian Alliances invasion of
Lower Nubia and Statsminster Inger Střjberg convinced Ĺgerup to
return key divisions and records of the Stjórn uppfinninga- og rannsókna to the government and run CMF as a partner organisation since he was a prominent Hřjre donor and supporter in the coalition's 2023 upset victory and was promised key roles in the company's staffing and operations.
Now a joint venture between businesses and the government, Stjórn uppfinninga- og rannsókna supports and invests in businesses, connects inventors with companies that can manufacture them and lobbies for privatisation and the abolition of property and inheritance taxes.
