On 19 April 2022, Elections were held in the United States of Dictators, this election was known as the Special Speaker Election, it was held to elect a Senate Speaker, a brand new position in the Parliament. Here are the results:

The winner of the election was Palmer Shepard from Halk Partisi. He was sworn in as Senate Speaker by the Vice President.

Background on Palmer Shepard
Palmer Harrison Shepard was a 8 times Senior Senator from Tarnstead district, serving from 2000 to 2016, he served as Senate Majority Leader from 2004 to 2012, In October 2016, one month before the 2016 House and Senate Elections, Shepard declared that he would not run for Senator again, and that he would cease all political activities.

In late February 2022, when the Senate Speaker Act was in a voting period. Shepard moved back to Wilmington and announced his intention to run for Senate Speaker, He said that the bill was brilliant and would be greatly beneficial to the Senate and Parliament as a whole. He ran a strong and solid campaign and won the election by a big margin.
