Presidential Primary

After counting the votes, out of the 8 candidates, 2 have been declared as winners ahead of the general election.

According to the Confederate Constitution, "Primaries must be carried out prior to the election to choose 2 candidates for Confederate National Positions." Article VII, Secion II, Clause VIII.

The 8 candidates were: Brian Roberts (Federationist Party- Vominjin), Erald McGaulin (Independent- Anakinland), Natalia Poklonskaya (Confederationist Party- Argon), Ejiminjigi Kihjimilni (Omahan Party- Vominjin), Nathaniel Brown (Libertarian- Aguas Costaneras), Esteban Rivera (Conservative Party- Aguas Costaneras), Chloé Amalie Dubois (Liberation Party- Abigailburg), and Jiminjingi Batulijanjiomin (Independent- Vominjin). Three candidates were discualified, as they reside in a territory, and not a state; these were: Tranjo Hinjo (Independence Party- Northwest Territory), Julia Naenji (Conservative Party of Aoi- Northwest Territory), and Edward Irons (Anarchist Party- Northwestern Territory). The Confederate Constitution establishes "Only Residents of States, having resided for more than 5 years and are older than 25 may serve as Confederate President, Vice-President, or General." Article VII, Section III, Clause I(residence clause).

The winners were:
Natalia Poklonskaya (Confederationist Party- Argon) with 33% of the vote, followed by Brian Roberts (Federationist Party- Vominjin) with 19.85% of the vote.
They were followed by:
Nathaniel Brown (Libertarian- Aguas Costaneras) with 19.84% of the vote, Esteban Rivera (Conservative Party- Aguas Costaneras) with 19% of the vote, Ejiminjigi Kihjimilni (Omahan Party- Vominjin) with 18% of the vote, Jiminjingi Batulijanjiomin (Independent- Vominjin) with 11.9% of the vote, Chloé Amalie Dubois (Liberation Party- Abigailburg) with 10% of the vote, and Erald McGaulin (Independent- Anakinland) with 8.11% of the vote.

This means that Natalia Poklonskaya will face Brian Roberts in the General Election.
