The Confederacy of Swiltzerland is a huge, safe nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape, state-planned economy, and irreverence towards religion. The hard-nosed population of 258 million Swiltzerlandians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Defense. The average income tax rate is 33.9%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The Swiltzerlandian economy, worth 11.2 trillion Swiss Francs a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient black market in Retail, Basket Weaving, Book Publishing, and Gambling. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 43,218 Swiss Francs, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The government enforces a policy of 'from each according to their ability, to each according to the available budget', refugees from other nations are flocking to Swiltzerland's border, glittering new sports stadiums adorn every city and town, and main battle tanks stalk the woods of Swiltzerland in search of Snow Hawks. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Swiltzerland's national animal is the Snow Hawk, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution.

Swiltzerland is ranked 208,842nd in the world and 565th in First World Order for Largest Agricultural Sector, scoring -8.94 on the Mu-Bah-Daggs Productivity Index.
