The Allied States of Solaria Alliance is a massive, genial nation, ruled by First Representative James Bell with a fair hand, and remarkable for its rampant corporate plagiarism, keen interest in outer space, and anti-smoking policies. The compassionate, democratic, cheerful population of 2.549 billion Solarians are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The large, liberal, socially-minded, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Nova Terra. The average income tax rate is 96.3%.

Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. Solaria Alliance's national animal is the Eagle, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.
