The Empire of Shamangolia is a colossal, socially progressive nation, renowned for its compulsory military service and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 6.956 billion Shamangolians are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force. Shamangolia's national animal is the ox.
