The Zaraqu (𐩸𐩧𐩤𐩥 "the Blue") is the official national flag of Samonaemia. The flag is a rectangular navy blue banner with three white crescent moons embracing three five pointed stars. It has represented the nation in varying forms and capacities since the advent of Fourth Kingdom in the 14th century C.E. The flag symbolises the unity of the state under the aegis of Heaven, the crescents symbolising each of the "Three Lands" Karfusa, Amuramasa, and Mempitana, the country's three historical core regions. The blue background represents the reigning Samonamid Dynasty which derives its mandate to rule from divine ordinance. The flag was standardised as per imperial decree by the late Emperor Samohari following the Reunification War, and again in its current form by reigning Empress Samowasret.

The Imperial Flag is the personal standard representing His Majesty the Emperor and the Imperial House of Samonami. Despite its association with the sovereign, its use by the general public has been popularised and is widely considered as the country's second national flag, largely due to the efforts of successive imperial governments to ingraine and revitalise the status of the Emperor following the Reunification War and the restoration of direct Imperial authority. Like the national flag, it is a rectangular navy blue (imperial blue) banner with a white "Tenninu" (𐩩𐩬𐩬𐩥) emblazoned in its centre. The Tenninu has served as a primary symbol for the Imperial family, its use in that capacity has been recorded throughout Samonaemia's four historical eras, albeit with varying designs and stylistics. The current version of the flag dates back to the reign of late Emperor Samodin IV and is said to have been designed by then Grand Prince Samohari, whom would later succeed his half-brother to the throne.

This flag serves as the banner of both the ISAF and the Imperial Samonaemian Army. It is an adaption of the Imperial flag with two crossed swords added to the upper left corner of the flag.
