The Republic of Riamo is a huge, efficient nation, renowned for its compulsory military service, irreverence towards religion, and restrictive gun laws. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic population of 345 million Riamoans are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

The tiny government prioritizes Defense, with Law & Order, Education, and Administration also on the agenda, while Spirituality and International Aid receive no funds. The average income tax rate is 7.3%.

The very strong Riamoan economy, worth 22.8 trillion Riamese a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is fairly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Gambling, and Cheese Exports. Average income is 66,166 Riamese, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 3.6 times as much as the poorest.

Parents are relieved they no longer need to help with their kids' algebra homework, raver DJ XStacy holds multiple medical degrees in chillaxing, knitting needles have been banned in the name of public safety, and the government is a proud sponsor of the National Gaming Association. Crime, especially youth-related, is relatively low. Riamo's national animal is the Redbelly Snake, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Riamo is ranked 41,223^rd in the world and 58^th in Anteria for Largest Mining Sector, scoring 5,125.83 on the Blue Sky Asbestos Index.
