Constitution

ARTICLE 1 - LEGISLATIVE BRANCH


1) The Legislative Branch will consist of Congress
2) Congress will have 435-members
3) Each member will have 1-vote
4) Each member will represent a Congressional-District
5) All-seats will be up for election every even-year
6) All Districts go to be-redrawn every 3-ending-year by the Congressional Districts Bureau
7) Statement 6 will only not be-valid once, which is to-be when they are drawn for the first-time in 1987
8) If a member-of-Congress cannot complete their-term, the State-Governor will appoint-a-Replacement of the same-Group or Party
9) Congresspeople are permitted to-filibuster-against proposed-legislation unless there is a 300-strong-vote to end-the-filibuster

ARTICLE 2 - JUDICIAL BRANCH


1) The Judicial Branch will consist of the Supreme Court, the State Courts, and the Local Courts
2) The Supreme Court will consist of 7 life-terms-with-resignation judges
3) Supreme Court members are appointed through Executive Actions
4) There will be 20 State Courts through each State having 1 State Court
5) Each State Court will consist of 3 judges serving life-terms-with-resignation
6) State Court Judges go to be appointed by the Governor
7) Court decisions go to Overturn Legislation or decide a two-way Court Case

ARTICLE 3 - EXECUTIVE BRANCH


1) The Executive Branch will consist of the President, the Vice President, and the Cabinet
2) The President will be elected every leap year through a purely-popular vote
3) There will be no Presidential term-limits
4) A Presidential-candidate needs to be at least 25 years old and a resident of this nation
5) The President will receive a salary as determined through-Actions
6) A President-Elect will need to take the Oath-of-Office before becoming President
7) The Oath-of-Office will be: "I will serve as President to keep this nation stable and defend the Constitution"
8) The President will be the Commander of the Military and Foreign-Aid Forces
9) A Presidential-candidate will choose their Vice-Presidential-candidate before the election and if they win, the Vice-Presidential-candidate will be the Vice President
10) The President and Vice President will take office on January 3 the year after the Presidential-election
11) The Presidential-election will be held on the first-Sunday of November
12) The Cabinet will be chosen and appointed to-Head their-Department through an Executive Action to confirm-them-all

ARTICLE 4 - CITIZENS BRANCH


1) The Citizens Branch will consist of all Unidalanian-citizens
2) Voters will vote in Elections
3) With Elections, the county-level Postal-Service will go to mail-out the ballots 30-days pre election
4) With Elections, voters will go to send-back their ballots at-least 7 days pre election
5) An Election ballot will consist of the Candidates and their Party or Group, plus a Write-In-candidate-line, and a Select-Box
6) Voter registration is not necessary through automatic registration
7) With automatic registration, under-18-citizens will be-registered when they turn 18
8) With automatic registration, over-18 citizens-to-be will be-registered when they become a-citizen
9) Considering Statement 5, voters are-permitted-to Write-In a-name that is not on-the-ballot through a Write-In-option with a name-line

ARTICLE 5 - POWERS AND NATIONAL ACTIONS


1) A President and Vice President can be Impeached with a Standard Action through committing Treason, a Felony, or Abusing their-Power
2) A President and Vice President can leave-Office through Impeachment, Resignation, or Death
3) If the President cannot complete their term, the sitting Vice President will be the acting-President and they will Choose a Vice President
4) There will be 4 types of National Actions
5) The first type will be Executive Orders
6) Executive Orders go to be passed when the President is for the Action
7) Executive Orders go to state a Presidential-Proclamation, repeal a previous-Executive-Order, and clarify-wording in Standard Actions
8) The second type will be Standard Actions
9) Standard Actions go to be passed when the President and a House-majority plus a 60-strong Senate-majority is for the Action or a House-majority plus a 75-strong Senate-majority is for the Action
10) Standard Actions go to pass new law
11) The third type will be Judicial Orders
12) Judicial Orders go to be passed when 5 or more Supreme Court Judges are for the Order
13) Judicial Orders go to support-or-repeal Legislation and to-decide Cases appealed to-Their-Level
14) The last type will be Constitutional Amendments
15) Constitutional Amendments go to be in Article 8

ARTICLE 6 - THE STATES


1) There are 20 states
2) Those states will be listed in Statement 3
3) Masaqoosateya, Ziataima, Anampta, Ayargajin, Zenzal, Zulja, Zalmu, Encaso, Oominarnum, Matoolas, Zunjag, Devront, Josezhey, Qoipol, Inki, Mupit, Kiuka, Aloe, Nujorque, Dauilan Megapolis
4) Each state will have a Governor, elected every leap year through a purely-popular vote
5) Each state will have a capital except Dauilan Megapolis
6) Dauilan Megapolis is the capital state
7) Each state will have Counties and Municipalities inside Counties
8) Each Municipality will have a Mayor elected every even year through a purely-popular vote
9) A state will be led by its Governor and its State Court
10) The Job of a Governor will be to go to-Appoint State Court Judges and to go to enforce passed Federal-Laws

ARTICLE 7 - BILL OF RIGHTS


1) The government will not restrict the practice of any religion or of no-religion
2) The government will not give special treatment to religious institutions
3) The government will have no official religion but no-religion will not be official
4) The government will not favor or discredit any religion or no-religion
5) The government will not restrict the right of free speech of all people
6) The government will allow people to peacefully assemble in public spaces
7) The government will respect the freedom of all press
8) The government will respect the right of all people to safely and peacefully express their opinions on the government
9) The government will allow people to have weapons once they complete the necessary safety requirements
10) The government will not allow quartering
11) The government will respect the right of all people to not be subject to unreasonable search and/or seizure and no warrant can be issued without a supportable reason
12) The government will respect the right of all people in court to remain silent and be innocent until proven guilty
13) The government will respect the right of all people in court to have a trial of proper-length, a trial with an unbiased-jury, and a trial with at least one-supporter of them presenting their case
14) The government will respect the right of all people in court to be presented to a jury
15) The government will not let a criminal have an overly-excessive bail and/or fine, and/or punishment imposed on them
16) The government will not let the Supreme Court interpret the Constitution in a way that overturns any of the rights granted by the Constitution
17) The government will respect the right of all people to-not-be in the-Military

ARTICLE 8 - AMENDMENTS


1) Amendments go to be passed when the President and a three-fourths majority of Congress are both for the Amendment
2) Amendments go to add Statements, repeal Statements, ratify-Legislation into the-Constitution, and to-repeal other-Amendments
3) Amendments go to-start with Statement 5 of this-Article
4) Statements One-through-Four of this-Article are-immune from-Constitutional-Amendments

ARTICLE 9 - INTERNATIONAL


1) This-nation will-not act-against other-nations unless they-act-against this-nation first
2) This-nation will-not send-help to other-nations unless they-ask-for help
3) This-nation will be a-part of the United Nations

ARTICLE 10 - LIMITS


1) Habeas-corpus will last as-long-as this-Constitution, without-suspensions
2) Each-and-every-tax will-not differ on the-basis-of location
3) No people-of-the-government will accept any-gift, whether-or-not monetary, from foreign-nations and their people-of-the-government
4) There will-not-be Titles of Nobility in this-nation
5) This-Article is-immune from-Constitutional-Amendments
6) All-violators of Article-10 Statement-3 will immediately-cease to-be a Unidalanian-citizen forever
