The Holy Imperium of Moneeri is a massive, orderly nation, ruled by Aurland with an iron fist, and renowned for its avowedly heterosexual populace, infamous sell-swords, and punitive income tax rates. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 1.809 billion Moneerians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, although Law & Order, Administration, and Spirituality are also considered important, while Welfare and International Aid receive no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Telhar. The average income tax rate is 88.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The strong Moneeri economy, worth 225 trillion Dollaroos a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a large, well-organized, quite specialized black market in Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Woodchip Exports. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 124,541 Dollaroos, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Foreign governments regularly accuse the Moneeri military of war crimes, politicians are often seen with soldiers pointing guns at their heads, police drones follow every suspected Peeping Tom, and feeling like a winner comes at a price. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Moneeri's national animal is the Hawk, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its national religion is Julikism.
