The Federal Republic of Macedale is a massive, socially progressive nation, ruled by Myla with a fair hand, and notable for its sprawling nuclear power plants, punitive income tax rates, and restrictive gun laws. The compassionate, democratic population of 3.316 billion Macedaleans are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Macedale's national animal is the red fox, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
