One of the oldest tradition in the military of Bornai is the ranking of soldiers by their skills and experience, since the ancient times, Bornai has always prefer high ranking military officials to be both highly skilled and experienced, the use of connections in the military are highly frowned upon as it can expose the lives of soldiers to unnecessary danger by their unexperience and low skilled leaders.
