LinkArmored Personnel Carrier

The Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) is a Glorious State armored transport used by Overwatch units.

In urban areas, APCs are used to rapidly deploy Civil Protection teams to trouble spots. Outside the cities, both Civil Protection and Overwatch forces use APCs extensively to patrol isolated areas. APCs are also used by Overwatch to patrol and transport police to areas in need of maintenance. They can also serve as an electrical generator.

APCs are armed with guided rocket launchers and a mounted automatic cannon. The missiles are fired through tubes which can be seen in-between the two front platings. The mounted cannon and rockets are operated remotely.

LinkKhalite Defender Mech

The Khalite Defender Mech is an optimized mobile walker intended for modern warfare, designed for Khalite by MOD with single pilot specifications or drone specifications. Like a tank, its thickest armor is located in the front. Unlike previous mechs, the Defender is reduced in size to be 9 meters in height, with previous mech walkers being at least twice as tall and much more massive. Defenders are made smaller, with cheaper methods, and fewer moving parts when compared to previous mech walkers.

Defender units are stable, solid, and modular. The ATOM (Acoustic Thermal Optical Magnetic) sensor package they possess is backed up by an onboard Virtual Intelligence capable of parsing great volumes of battlefield data and making snap-calculations. Besides the armor, defensive options include 5 separate fast-acting projectile interception systems that can detect incoming missiles/warheads and engage them at close range with a targeted pellet scatter to prematurely detonate anti-tank warheads before they connect with the CDM's titanium-steel armor.

Like tanks, Defender walkers are best protected by supporting infantry and vehicles to maximize their effectiveness.

The purpose of the Defender is to act as a mobile intimidation and battle platform, which is capable of mounting a variety of powerful weapons. The common weapon system aboard the Defender is a 120mm left-side auto-loading variable munition howitzer capable of blasting apart fortifications and battle tanks. The right-side weapons can be swapped out to provide flexible firepower options for any battlefield environment, including:

--Anti-Air Laser Emitter
--Heat-Seeking Missiles
--Wire-Guided Missiles
--Radar-Guided Missiles
--Laser-Guided Missiles
--Rapid-Firing Autocannon
--Tactical Oxygen Nuke Launchers

LinkType 601 Main Battle Tank

This upgraded Sojian tank in many ways follows the traditional layout defined centuries ago, with the notable exception of having twin main guns. An automatic loader is located at the bottom of the turret basket to feed both guns, with turret crew compartment on top of that loader. Turret crew in baseline models includes a gunner and a commander, who are cut off from the driver's compartment in the forward hull by the autoloader. Minimal close-in defenses against infantry or aircraft are primarily provided by a 12.7mm machine gun mounted on the commander's cupola; the stowage basket at the turret's rear can serve as a platform for another 8mm machine gun, but a crewman must exit the tank altogether to operate that second machine gun, or alternatively another personnel outside of the tank's crew complement (an accompanying infantryman, for example) can man the platform.

In (almost single-minded) pursuit of firepower against armored opponents, this tank was initially armed with two massive 150mm cannons in its turret. These guns are aimed and fired by the tank's gunner (although conceivably the commander can take over in case the gunner should be incapacitated) and fed via an autoloader (by necessity due to the lack of any gun loader in the crew complement) at the bottom of the turret basket. This weapon is capable of indirect barrage-fire for increased range, allowing the tank to function as a mobile field artillery of sorts.

Mounting two guns, however, necessitates a large turret ring, which sticks out of the tank's upper hull sides like a sore thumb, a vulnerability that can be exploited by a flanking enemy.
The upgraded A5 version has these guns replaced by a pair of more-powerful 155mm cannons for increased firepower. The ammunition loadout for the main 155mm cannons includes High-Explosive-Incendiary for use against infantry and structures, High-Explosive-Squash-Head for use against soft vehicles, and APFSDS (Armor-Piercing Fin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot) rounds for heavily armored targets.

Four simple, mortar-like grenade launchers are mounted on each flank of the tank's turret. These special grenades can generate smokes upon detonation mid-air to conceal the tank from its opponent's line of sight. Also, it could be used as a mean to communicate with allies.

Following a reorganization of Khalite armored divisions, the M61A5 was renamed to the Type 601.

Khalite uses the Type 601 as a mobile artillery piece, assault gun, cavalry tank, and second-order-of-battle fire support tank.
