Livorino-Keomora Diplomatic Agreement

Section I
The nations of Livorino and Keomora hereby agree to recognize one another as sovereign nations. This recognition entails that neither shall endeavor to threaten the sovereignty of one another.

Keomora has established that it wishes to protect Livoran sovereignty, and Livoran neutrality in Foreign Affairs. If the nation of Livorino is threatened with the prospect of invasion or attack, the nation of Keomora will help the island nation protect its sovereignty. In order to better facilitate this, Livorino shall lease a small area of land for Keomora to build an airstrip and a small naval base on the island of Capri.

Livorino asserts that it will never willing assist any enemy of Keomora in the removal of Keomoran Sovereignty over its own nation and land. Along with this Livorino states that it will not become entangled within the defense of Keomora due to its small, defensive military, but that it will try to help resolve any conflict through diplomatic channels.

Section II
In this globalized world, the economies of many nations are intertwined. Realizing that a truly free market serves to help the interests of both nations, the nations of Livorino and Keomora both decree that there shall be free trade between the two nations and that any tariffs shall be removed.

Section III
Recognizing the necessity of better transit between the two nations for the nations' economies; the nations of Livorino and Keomora agree to expand and better the visa program between the two nations.

In order to increase tourism between the two nations, citizens of each country may stay up to a full month, 31 days, without a visa in each nation. After this time period a visa is required to stay longer. Getting a visa should be simple and easy, with cost minimal. Business trips fall under this category of no need of a visa.

Immigration between the two nations shall be streamlined so as to make it easier to immigrate, and the process of becoming a citizen shall be made more easily accessible. Adding onto that a visa system shall be implemented where a citizen of one nation may stay in another nation without having to become a citizen, although they have to maintain a visa.
Student programs in which students may study abroad shall be made easier and more accessible to universities in one another's nations. This visa process shall be made easier and less costly to obtain.

Section IV
Both nations in wishing to promote better relations, and a betterment of society for each nation, agree to work together in research initiatives between the two nations. Whether this be between scientists, governments, or universities, an atmosphere of cooperation shall be maintained.
