The Community of Jungeria is a massive, efficient nation, renowned for its strictly enforced bedtime, fear of technology, and compulsory military service. The hard-nosed, cynical, devout population of 1.959 billion Jungerians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The enormous, corrupt, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Welfare, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 63.5%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The powerhouse Jungerian economy, worth 143 trillion dollars a year, is highly specialized and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Basket Weaving, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Book Publishing. Black market activity is rampant. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 73,301 dollars, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.2 times as much as the poorest.

A suspicious number of male students have joined the Ladies' Wrestling League, censors protect the public from lewd images of Bigtopians in duffel coats, literature classes frequently go on field trips to rock concerts, and lending money has become a major liability. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Jungeria's national animal is the bear, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Jungeria is ranked 296,289^th in the world and 5,165^th in The North Pacific for Largest Cheese Export Sector, scoring -7.59 on the Mozzarella Productivity Index.
