Ineva's Participation in the World Assembly

Ineva is a member of the World Assembly (WA), meaning it can vote on proposals of the General Assembly (GA) and Security Council (SC), in addition to having to adhere to passed proposals. Some may mistake this membership as a fondness Ineva holds for the WA; however, this not the case.

While many dissidents of the WA do not partake in its various processes, Ineva believes it is the responsibility of these dissidents to combat tyrannical, excessive, counterproductive, and/or otherwise damaging legislation proposed to the caucus of the WA. When looking at Ineva's voting record on WA resolutions, one is expected to find that Ineva often votes against proposed WA resolutions. This is intentional. The only way for the WA to truly reflect the values of NationStates nation-states is by representing them all justly and equally. Ineva's opposition to many of the WA's proposals hopes to better accomplish this.

Ineva whole-heartedly believes the WA is a corrupt, partisan, and largely ineffective organization. Ineva understands how her membership in the WA may appear hypocritical or misguided. But, Ineva is a staunch believer that when corruption, partisanship, and ineffectiveness are observed, all observers shall be responsible for correcting these undesirable qualities as best they can. Otherwise, Ineva believes these bystanders to be equally as complicit as the very nation-states responsible for the proposals and their passing. This is, therefore, the reason Ineva is a member of the WA.
