The Fallen nation of Greater Thistand is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by The Supreme One with an iron fist, and notable for its frequent executions, soft-spoken computers, and enforced nudity. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 2.105 billion Thistandesians are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

The tiny, corrupt, moralistic, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, although Law & Order, Education, and Healthcare are also considered important, while Spirituality and International Aid aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The City of The Strait. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 8.4%.

The Greater Thistandese economy, worth 137 trillion Ç⁄s a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. Crime is moderate, possibly because it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many regulations. Greater Thistand's national animal is the Pentacorn, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Worship of the Pentacorn.
