The Empire of Glorius is a gargantuan, efficient nation, renowned for its rampant corporate plagiarism, devotion to social welfare, and stringent health and safety legislation. The compassionate, cynical, cheerful population of 10.351 billion Gloriusians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The large, corrupt, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Defense. The income tax rate is 100%.

The frighteningly efficient Gloriusian economy, worth a remarkable 3,494 trillion Glories a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is mostly made up of the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Tourism, and Book Publishing. Average income is an amazing 337,582 Glories, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Glittering new sports stadiums adorn every city and town, preschools put children down for naps with milk, cookies, and a gruesome story of vengeance, no one is quite sure what many government officials look like, and Glorius's Medieval Faire is renowned as one of the best in the region. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Glorius's national animal is the Snake, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Glorius is ranked 14,822nd in the world and 1,523rd in The North Pacific for Most Influential, scoring 3,474 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
