The Republic of Folkerland is a very large, orderly nation, remarkable for its otherworldly petting zoo, pith helmet sales, and free-roaming dinosaurs. The cynical, devout population of 107 million Folkers are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The large, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Spirituality, Defense, and Law & Order. The average income tax rate is 34.7%.

The sizeable but inefficient Folkish economy, worth 3.53 trillion Marks a year, is quite specialized and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with significant contributions from Basket Weaving, Trout Farming, and Furniture Restoration. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 33,016 Marks, with the richest citizens earning 5.3 times as much as the poorest.

Folkerland is increasingly belligerent on the international stage, parents must choose their children's names from a government-mandated master list, politicians spend more time in courtrooms than in Parliament, and citizens are known to cast their votes by flipping a Mark. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Folkerland's national animal is the Eagle.

Folkerland is ranked 209,791st in the world and 1,095th in Europe for Highest Economic Output, with 3.53 trillion Standard Monetary Units.
