The Legal Tender of Federal Reserve Notes is a gargantuan, efficient nation, ruled by The Federal Reserve System with an even hand, and renowned for its public floggings, ritual sacrifices, and state-planned economy. The hard-nosed, hard-working, humorless population of 13.467 billion Federal Reserve Notesians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The tiny, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Industry, Education, and Law & Order. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The Department Of The Treasury. Income tax is unheard of.

The frighteningly efficient Federal Reserve Notesian economy, worth a remarkable 4,969 trillion dollars a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, broadly diversified black market in Retail, Information Technology, Arms Manufacturing, and Uranium Mining. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an amazing 368,992 dollars, but there is an enormous disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 2,030,063 per year while the poor average 34,023, a ratio of 59.7 to 1.

Citizens who become homeless are immediately executed, young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables, leather-clad individuals can be seen walking their slaves in public parks, and the new foreign policy is "why bother invading neighbours when they can be bought wholesale?". Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Federal Reserve Notes's national animal is the bald eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to toxic air pollution, and its national religion is Money.

Federal Reserve Notes is ranked 821st in the world and 11th in Capitalist Paradise for Most Efficient Economies, scoring 101.04 on the Krugman-Greenspan Business Outlook Index.
