The Federation of ERRIBURG is a gargantuan, efficient nation, ruled by Paris Karabatzakis with an even hand, and remarkable for its strictly enforced bedtime, compulsory military service, and restrictive gun laws. The hard-nosed, humorless population of 14.575 billion ERRIBURGians are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The medium-sized, corrupt, socially-minded government prioritizes Defense, with Industry, Education, and Administration also on the agenda, while Spirituality and International Aid receive no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Glassin. The income tax rate is 100%.

The frighteningly efficient ERRIBURGian economy, worth an astonishing 12,225 trillion EKRS a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is an enormous, deeply entrenched, broadly diversified black market in Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, Book Publishing, and Retail. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is a breathtaking 838,808 EKRS, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Retirees make up the bulk of foreign students, babysitters are a thing of the past, evenings at university debating societies often end with everyone acknowledging both sides may well be right, and old people living in plastic bubbles complain about a new type of social isolation. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. ERRIBURG's national animal is the dolphin, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to heavy metals seepage into national waterways.

ERRIBURG is ranked 185th in the world and 8th in Balder for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 20,245.41 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
