Coming off of a disfavorable result in the Fólkeðínget's general election in 2019, Felix Juul, son of the traitorous Finn Juul, met Haakon Noregaard, Callum Rose, and many other noteworthy Syndicalists from across the world, forming the Fifth International. Its plan was simple: Disassemble the free world, disarm it of its practices, desecrate its holy places, and establish a ruthless and exploitative system of Workers "unity" in its place. When the Fifth International came forward, the world turned away its ears. It would be the worst mistake it would ever make.

As fireworks began to set off across the world, so too did the tide of revolution. Droiden, Frisia, Zapadoslavia, The United States, Canada, Russia, England, France, India, Japan, and so many other nations would be viciously and ruthlessly attacked in what would come to be called "The Day of Reckoning." In an instant, millions of innocents, including then-Kongur Edgar III and his immediate family, as well as our current Kongur, Eirik II's wife, would be murdered in cold blood. The United States crumbled, shattering into five pieces. The House of Lansov was nearly wiped out. France was carved in two. Japan's once bustling and glowing square was turned into a bloodbath. However, there were survivors. Frisia and Zapadoslavia, allies of Droiden through familial ties, became safe havens for Droidenian refugees. Canada lost its hold on Quebec, but maintained its hold on the other provinces. England, alongside Scotland and Ireland formed the Great British Union of Anti-Syndicalists. India's valiant resistance against the Red Menace left their reach throughout Asia crippled. Finally, Droiden's survival was guaranteed through the careful actions of Kongur Eirik II, then King of Finland. On the morning of January 1, 2021, he instructed naval and land forces at Aland and Inari respectively, making first a valiant defense, and then a crushing counter-attack on the encroaching Syndicalists. He defended freedom in Finland for sixteen years, and even spread the glowing light of freedom to the Kingdom of Lappland eight years after the Syndicalists' victory. He did not work alone however; Mattias Lauridsson, a high-ranking member of the Finnish Intelligence Agency, would infiltrate the Syndicalist government, and would be discovered just moments before the first planes flew over Syndicalist Althior. His sacrifice shall not go unnoticed!

It was then that a miracle was said to break across the sky.

A combined force of Droidenian, Russian, Zapadoslav, Frisian, and others broke the dawn over the final day of the Syndicalist regime. Eirik II himself led the charge with his men, parachuting into battle with them. He would not lose the chance to crush the snake! Eirik personally led a regiment of soldiers into the Syndicalist's Headquarters, and captured and executed Felix Juul. The ignition of the gunpowder, propelling the bullet through Juul's despotic mind, was the first celebratory explosion of freedom flooding Droiden once again.

"It takes a great fervor and ability to conceal ones true self to be a spy in [Lauridsson's] position. His actions ensured our victory here today." - Eirik II, addressing his troops after storming the Althior Syndicate.

The execution of Felix Juul and imprisonment of his Labour Council was done summarily and without trial. Such villains were not deserving of such liberty.

What's happening now?

Our nation is stronger than it has ever been before. Even with a few missteps.

On June 1, 2036, the first Fólkeðínget since 2019 would open session. The first law it passed banned the Syndicalist Party from standing for election. It became defunct and its headquarters were demolished the following year. Several other laws were passed, bringing Droiden away from tyranny and returning it to freedom. The Patriarchate of Ribe was re-established, though some feel as though it is not the proper Patriarchate as the direct line of Apostolic Succession was breached. However, Bishop and Poet Nostra Ingen, who lived for 16 years in a Syndicalist prison camp, ordained Valdemar VII as the new Patriarch of Ribe.

Droiden was ranked the happiest nation in the world for 2036, and it's no surprise why. No longer were the people under the thumb of a ruthless despot.

On July 7, 2037, Syndicalist terror group The Red Wave attacked and demolished the Skansen Kronan. In the initial blast, upwards of 200 were killed, and a further 1,100 were killed in the collapse of the North Tower or via gunshot from the terrorists. However, they were apprehended, and put to death in August of the same year.

In 2040, the second general election since the revolution took place, seeing the Sovereignty Party take power for the second year in a row. Under their leadership, the Althior Stock Exchange was reopened, revamped, and several Droidenian companies were re-established. However, these reforms made it hard for any new companies to spring up. Enter Tax Form 14.1.1, which allowed any member of the Droidenian public to become a founder and CEO of a company they established, provided they had all of the necessary assets a company would need to survive. The Records Commission of the Fólkeðínget found an original copy of the Great Edict on October 23rd, 2042, sixty years to the day of its signing. This called for a celebration. Eirik II and thousands gathered in Althior Square Gardens, and set off fireworks and released balloons in commemoration of the discovery of this artifact.

What does all of this mean?

We are the garisson of our nation. We are free, and shall remain free of Syndicalism and its toxins, for the rest of time, until Christ returns and we are returned to Him. Every man may live as freely as he wishes. Every man may worship as he pleases. Every man may vote, drive, sing, dance, work, and rest; No longer shall they fear oppression at the hands of a fundamentally broken system.

We are surrounded by friends and allies of our system. The European Prosperity Sphere, spearheaded by Droiden, has since brought millions of people across Europe the power and prosperity to do things that the Syndicalist world could never conceive of. Worldwide, the Syndicalist menace has vanished and in its place the winds of a brighter future have graced the cheek of every man, woman, and child across the world.

Those smoggy skies of Syndicalism have now cleared for the hand of radiance to take its place. A new era has started, and it is ours to conquer. There is nothing to fear, for our destiny belongs to us. A nation united not by conformity, but by what we ourselves uniquely bring to the table. We will work together to ensure our birthright is not taken away again!
