The Mild Embarrassment of Din Rap is a colossal, orderly nation, renowned for its anti-smoking policies, punitive income tax rates, and restrictive gun laws. The cynical population of 6.667 billion Din Rapians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The enormous, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Spirituality. The average income tax rate is 58.6%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but stagnant Din Rapian economy, worth 30.6 trillion units a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, quite specialized black market in Cheese Exports, Pizza Delivery, and Soda Sales. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 4,583 units, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Many politicians are serving jail time for minor drug offenses, the nation's soldiers are considered the best-dressed in Mrs Doubtfire, tourists are denied entry because of a distant relative married to a Lilliputian, and naturists are jailed regularly for indecent exposure. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Din Rap's national animal is the cow.
