The Colony of Copper 9 is a massive, orderly nation, renowned for its state-planned economy, restrictive gun laws, and stringent health and safety legislation. The industrial sector, which is quite specialized, is mostly made up of the Trout Farming industry, with significant contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Book Publishing, and Cheese Exports. Average income is 28,463 worker drones, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Copper 9 has designated Copper 9 City as its capital city, Leader has just been declared ruler of Copper 9 in an international press conference, a major religion has been named as Copper 9's national religion, and legislators work 24/7 due to an influx of single-issue bills. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Copper 9's national animal is the worker drone, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.
