The Empire of Chijako is a massive, orderly nation, ruled by emperor with an iron fist, and renowned for its unlimited-speed roads, punitive income tax rates, and suspicion of poets. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical, humorless population of 3.629 billion Chijakenses are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The large, corrupt, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Administration, Law & Order, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Epicrotea. The average income tax rate is 88.5%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient chijakense economy, worth 516 trillion investments a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Woodchip Exports, and Beef-Based Agriculture. Average income is an impressive 142,383 investments, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.5 times as much as the poorest.

Many believe that emperor's head is big enough for the sun to orbit around it, even religious militants can be swayed by the power of #love, a shocking number of government bills get lost in committee, and untold millions of investments are going into a new government-funded maternity leave scheme. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Chijako's national animal is the Cattle, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Chijako is ranked 307,117th in the world and 5,004th in the South Pacific for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -12.33 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
