1726: William Barry discovered an large island in the south of Pacific, he named the island as Barryland
1735: Barry declared himself as King Barry I of Barryland.
1735-1778: Kingdom of Barryland
1774-1778: Invasion from the United Kingdom, Barryland came an protected territory under the control of British Empire but the House of Barry still the ceremonial representative of the island.
1778: The island renamed as Baridia.
1778-1909: Protectorate of Baridia.
1909: Baridian nationalist uprising that led to the public hanging of Barry X, uprising suppressed by British army. House of Baridia was removed, King of the United Kingdom became monarch of Baridia.
1909-1914: Colony of Baridia.
1914: Baridian nationalist uprising led by Hebert Gray, gained independence. Gray found the first republic that led by the Consulate. The consulate elected Gray as First Consul of the Baridian Republic.
1914-1920: Republic of Baridia.
1918-1920: Communist uprising due to extreme purge under Gray's regime. After 2 years of civil war, Gray was assassinated by his guards. Communist leader James Anderson gained power.
1920-1954: People's Proletarian Republic.
1920s-1945: Statewide repression of all nationality in order to build a nationless and equal state. Baridian national identity and culture was destructed. Repression abolish in 1945 due to People's Proletarian Republic become a member of the United Nations.
1926: Recognized by the Soviet Union.
1945: Became a member state of the United Nation.
1948: An anonymous monk published the "Blue Sorrow Scripture" which led to the Blue religious movement. The core the movement is that suffering and sadness are an inherent part of life, and that accepting and living with them is the path to liberation and wisdom, embracing and making peace with suffering as a means to achieve mental liberation. Happiness is seen as fleeting moments in the journey of life, and seeking happiness as a primary goal is considered unsustainable. This religious movement have a big influence on Joseph Ligero's action when he later was in power.
1954: Due to economic failure and supplies shortage, a group of officers made a coup d'état to removed James Anderson from power, abolishing the People's Proletarian Republic and founding the Democratic Republic of Bourgeoiss. (The name Bourgeoiss was chosen for two reason. First, it's contradict meaning to Proletarian. Second, as the new regime also embraced on removing all national and cultural identities, the name represent the state is a universal state and aim to make all citizens live in it wealthy and remove any relation to Baridian nation.)
1954-present: Democratic Republic of Bourgeoiss.
1954: Colonel Joseph Ligero, the man who led the coup d'état, become State Representative of the Democratic Republic of Bourgeoiss, ceremonial head of state.
1954-1959: Parliamentary republic, often facing disagreement on 2 essential issues, economic and national identity.
1959: Nationalist Baridia Party gained the most seat in the parliament, aimed to bring back Baridian nation and culture. However, a coup d'état led by General Frank Harrison secretly guided by Colonel Joseph Ligero again overthrown the government.
1959-present: Totalitarian Dictatorship
1959: Foundation of the Revolutionary Command Council, a united state organ of 3 branches of government.
1962: Joseph Ligero, now only refer to as Great Leader (the name Joseph Ligero was banned by state media), gained the office of Leader of the Revolution, effective became a Premier of the Cabinet and Judge of all Case law.
1980: Foundation of "The Will of the Great Leader", the state ideology.
1981: Foundation of the Council of the Will of the Great Leader, the highest ideological authority to interpret and represent the Will of the Great Leader. The "Master system" is formed by the Council of Will of the Great Leader to recognize cadres and citizens based on their knowledge and time learning the Will of the Great Leader. The highest Master and head of the council is the Grand Master.
1998: The Great Leader last appearance on media, from 1998 no photo or voice recording of him ever released, text that attributed to him still appeared on television and news until he officially confirmed dead. The Great Leader probably didn't die yet in 1998 but this year marked his last public appearance.
2000: Bourgeoiss's first constitution after the Second Revolution.
2002: Probably influence by "Final Fantasy X", the Great Leader's personal interest, the term "Master" in the Master system become "Maester".
2020: Bourgeoiss's second constitution after the Second Revolution
2024: The current Grand Maester announced that the Great Leader no longer 'in physical form' but still 'remains with us in spirit'. He also announced that "The Revolutionary Command Council and the Council of the Will of the Great Leader will collectively assume the responsibility of guiding Bourgeoiss".
Bourgeoiss's third constitution after the Second Revolution and first after the Great Leader's death was also published this year, the General Secretary of Standing Committee of Revolutionary Command Council become the country de facto top office.
