(Historical Document) Personal letter of the State Representative of the Democratic Republic of Bourgeoiss to General Frank Harrison, Commander-in-Chief of the State Army
To General Frank Harrison, Commander-in-Chief of the State ArmyAs you have seen, in just the past 6 months, Bourgeoiss has had 5 Premiers with 7 cabinets formed and then overthrown due to loose alliances and fierce competition (in the lower house). Among the 13 parties holding seats in the lower house, extremist parties have taken nearly half, with the far-right nationalist Baridia Party holding 31 seats, the Monarchist Party holding 28 seats, and the left to far-left socialist Workers' Party holding 23 seats. The remaining parties also revolve around these ideologies but with overlapping and conflicting views. Remember that in the State Construction Platform we adopted on the founding day of the Democratic Republic of Bourgeoiss on May 3, 1954, it clearly states that:
"The Democratic Republic of Bourgeoiss is determined to eliminate the harmful economic legacies of the previous People's Proletarian Republic but will retain the noble progressive spirit and resolutely strive towards the goal of eliminating class and achieving great unity. To achieve this goal, the Democratic Republic of Bourgeoiss will resolutely oppose extreme economic forces and parties that want to restore the dark feudal 'Baridia' nation that the People's Proletarian Republic had eliminated, so that all people on the island will no longer be divided by ethnicity."
Yet now, the three extremist parties mentioned above hold nearly half of the lower house, not to mention the other parties trying to hide their true faces.
As the founder of the Democratic Republic of Bourgeoiss and currently holding the position of State Representative, although my role is only ceremonial, I still feel responsible for resolving this chaos. The army is our only hope now.
The current democracy is a mistake, the economic planning of the previous People's Proletarian Republic was also a mistake, but the proletarian dictatorship was only a partial mistake. I think if the dictatorship is led by a revolutionary council representing all classes, we will move towards rule of law and order, and then all people will march towards great unity.
Therefore, as the Head of State, I declare the launch of the Second Revolution, under the leadership of the Revolutionary Command Council. After the revolution is successful, the council will replace the current government as a unified legislative, executive, and judicial body.
I have sent this letter to 92 high-ranking officials, and each of them has the right to choose to become a member of the Revolutionary Command Council or ignore it. For each individual, I have invited them to hold a specific position and specific task.
As for you, Frank, this part is sent specifically to you. I only got to know you after the 1954 revolution, but I believe you are a capable and talented person. Therefore, I propose that you become the Chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council, the highest executive position. If you agree, please come to my office immediately, our fellow revolutionaries are waiting for you, and we have much to discuss. Let us put an end to the chaos of the past 5 years.
May 3, 1959 (5th anniversary of the Democratic Republic of Bourgeoiss and the First Revolution)
Leader of the Second Revolution, State Representative of the Democratic Republic of Bourgeoiss
