The Kingdom of Aromea is a very large, safe nation, notable for its compulsory military service, smutty television, and spontaneously combusting cars. The hard-nosed, hard-working population of 187 million Aromeans are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Welfare, and Law & Order. The average income tax rate is 14.3%.

The thriving Aromean economy, worth 13.5 trillion US$s a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Door-to-door Insurance Sales. Average income is 72,078 US$s, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 4.7 times as much as the poorest.

School lockers are filled with fancy underwear, farmers are complaining that the buzzing and the sparks from the nearby MagRail are blighting their crops, there is a growing belief that consciousness is a simulated illusion within a computer-generated reality, and frequent broken zippers have resulted in safety pins making a fashion comeback. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Aromea's national animal is the Wolf, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Aromea is ranked 193,418^th in the world and 170^th in The Western Isles for Most Advanced Public Transport, scoring 356.99 on the Societal Mobility Rating.
