The Empire of Alterld Sha is a colossal, efficient nation, ruled by Khrusos VII with an iron fist, and remarkable for its pith helmet sales, ban on automobiles, and lack of airports. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless population of 6.615 billion Alterld Shans are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The medium-sized, corrupt, well-organized government is primarily concerned with Defense, with Law & Order, Environment, and Administration also on the agenda, while Welfare and Social Policy aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Alterld Sha City. The average income tax rate is 31.1%, but much higher for the wealthy.
