Dual-House Advisory

Beneath the primarch Chief Executive Rabbi Dr. Yedudah Braun lies the governing body which consists of two houses; The Pynx and The Strip. This body would be understood to be the “legislative branch” of the government, though they have no practical authority outside of what is granted by the Chief Executive.

The Pynx is an advisory board consisting of 100 representatives known as “Senators” which debate and vote on issues presented to them by the Chief Executive’s Office. Membership in The Pynx is determined by a bi-annual ranked-choice vote by those in the general citizenry who have attained a bachelor’s degree and performed a year’s military service. Debates are held and streamed publicly on a regular basis for the sake of the education and political literacy of the general populace. Most members of The Pynx are Rabbis, academics, economists, political activists, and other sorts of thinkers. Seats are almost always relegated to representatives from the nation’s parties.

The Strip is an advisory board consisting of 200 representatives known as “Stakeholders”. Membership in The Strip is first determined quarterly by an evaluation to see what percentage of the economy is made up by each industry sector and then the leading companies in those sectors are able to appoint their own representatives with respect to their own size to serve as advisors and lobbyists to the Chief Executive. Votes, debates, and discussions are held though they are held in private. However, The Strip does publish opinions and figures if it’s general electorate so wishes.
